- Daniel Wu

In this edition of Montala's Spotlight series, we would like to discuss the concept of an “edge” as it relates to investing. Thanks to sensational media and Hollywood, the word “edge” evokes mental images of PhD quants, black box algorithms, high-frequency trading and even the “black edge” of insider trading.

This may seem intimidating to the ordinary investor, but even ordinary investors can compete and win in a seemingly stacked market if they have the right investment process and philosophy.
